Music Center The Music Center, which opened in 1964, reaches more than 2.6 million people each year and is home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Center Theatre Group (the Mark Taper and the Ahmanson Theatre), the Los Angeles Opera and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

Drum Barracks Drum Barracks, is the last remaining major structure in Camp Drum. Many California Volunteers came through this camp and went east to fight in the civil war. Drum Barracks also supplied troops to hold the Southwest for the Union.
Fort MacArthur Military Museum The Fort MacArthur Military Museum is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the history of Fort MacArthur, a U.S. Army post which guarded the Los Angeles Harbor from 1914 to 1974. The fort was built in 1916.
